There is nothing like a Christmas at home surrounded by loved ones but sometimes if you bring the loved ones with you a Christmas away is just as amazing. Traditionally we don’t travel for Christmas but we may consider spending a family vacation at a destination instead of at home during Christmas. For those of you that do travel or who dream of traveling like me I am sharing one amazing place to celebrate Christmas, one essential travel with kids tool, and one charity for you to consider this season.

Madrid

A historic and delightful city best known for its cultural and artistic heritage is beautiful at Christmas.. Madrid with its lively nightlife, royal palace, and inviting plazas makes me yearn to return.

Inglesina table chairInglesina Fast Table Chair

Meals are not a thing to rush in Madrid and since you sit and savor both the food and the conversation it might be a good idea to have an easy way to keep baby comfy and close. This chair is easy to travel with and helps provide a safe and clean area for your baby to sit at the table. Although most restaurants will provide a chair for your kiddo some are not very safe or clean. We have experienced this ourselves and now opt to either bring this chair or sit baby in the stroller by our table. You can find the Inglesina 2012 Fast Table Chair here Great for home, hotel, grandma’s, and other travel.

Impacting lives

Oblate Missions raises funds for the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate who are a missionary order of Priests and Brothers dedicated to bringing the Word of Our Lord and His message of salvation to the poorest of the poor and most abandoned. Your gifts of support help the Oblates provide critical aid (water, food, shelter, medicines, & education) to countless families in Mexico, Africa, Haiti and the U.S., as well as assist our seminarians studying to become Missionary Oblates. If you are donating this holiday season please consider Oblate Missions.
