We love books so we’re giving two away. Visit the Rafflecopter entry below to enter to win Monica Brown’s Lola Levine, Drama Queen.
I inherited my father’s appreciation for words printed on pages that tell of adventures, history, love, and more. Over the years I’ve acquired an extensive collection of books that I’ve fallen in love with and can’t fathom parting with any. My girls inherited my bookworm hording tendencies and their room is filled with bookshelves that spill over with beautiful books too.
So it goes without saying that we also love book festivals and we are really looking forward to the 2016 San Antonio Book Festival. We’ve attended every year and are pleased to see it improve each time. For us, the festival provides us all an opportunity to explore our interests while also allowing us to expose our daughters to the authors. They also really enjoy taking part in the festival activities. This year our oldest has moved up to chapter books. She is in a second grade dual-language program and we are always on the lookout for appropriate level books in both English and Spanish.
We found Monica Brown’s Lola Levine series and read the latest: Lola Levine, Drama Queen. It was an instant hit and hope your family will enjoy it as much as we did (don’t forget to enter below to win one of two copies being given away). We plan to visit the festival to buy the first of the series: Lola Levine is Not Mean! Monica will also present at 11:15 a.m. and sign books at 12:30. Each year our girls get to buy at least one special book so we’ll be looking for more of Monica’s books and see if we find any new treasures.
