So in case you haven’t heard People en Español is hosting the 1st Annual Festival presented by Target on September 1 and 2 at the iconic Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, TX. It’s this Labor Day weekend. Festival will feature two days of FREE exciting experiences including compelling seminars and dynamic speakers, hosted by editor, ARMANDO CORREA, news correspondent, SOLEDAD O’BRIEN, and other esteemed experts.
Over the two nights, leading names in Hispanic entertainment take the stage at the Alamodome for electrifying performances. Headliners include LUIS MIGUEL, DADDY YANKEE and PRINCE ROYCE. There is also a tribute to the legend of SELENA with a special performance by AB QUINTANILLA & KUMBIA KINGS/ALLSTARZ. The concerts will also feature four Masters of Ceremony, TONY award-winning playwright and actor LIN-MANUEL MIRANDA, television icon CHARYTÍN GOYCO, TV hosts CANDELA FERRO and MARCO ANTONIO REJIL.
Of course San Antonio knows a thing or two about throwing a party since we have been celebrating Fiesta Week for well over a century but this celebration of the Hispanic culture, entertainment and community will be the first festival in the country of this size and scope. Taking over the Henry B. Gonzalez convention center for the weekend the Daytime Programming will be free to the public and geared to the whole family.
