New Year’s Eve (Day) Family Celebration
If you are looking for a fun family activity you can enjoy on New Year’s eve (day) with your kids in San Antonio you don’t want to miss the San Antonio Children’s Museum (SACM) annual year-end event, Kids’ Countdown. Returning to the Museum on Wednesday, December 31 from 9 a.m. to noon families are encouraged to join in this celebration of the year that was, especially as 2014 concludes the final holiday season at the Children’s Museum downtown location before it relocates to The Do Seum on Broadway in June 2015.
Now the parents of a six and a three year old we have had to find new ways to celebrate and this annual event at the Museum is a favorite way to end the year for us. At Kids’ Countdown, guest will have the opportunity to watch the ball drop at the kid-friendly hour of noon, while toasting with complimentary sparkling juices and flicking flutter-fetti sticks filled with colorful confetti. Children and their families can also rock out to some funky beats, as well as craft confetti poppers, noisemakers, and party hats at this year-end celebratory event.
We’ll also be celebrating at the traditional midnight hour at home, since we have a front row view of the Tower of the Americas and the city’s fireworks show from our front porch, so those confetti poppers, noisemakers, and party hats will be put to good use during our celebration.
Don’t wait. Register Now!
