A holiday where you entertain right in the middle of a work week is hard. This week we celebrated the 4th of July and enjoyed the awesome fireworks display from our front porch. It is days like these that make me love living downtown all the more. We have a perfect view of the Hemisfair tower and the light show. My brother and parents joined us and it was ideal but boy was it tiring! The 10 month old knocked out on my shoulder out side while the fireworks were going on and I was able to put her in her crib for the rest of the night. Unbelievable!
This week was just too busy for our usual post so instead of a “he said, she said” set of images you get the one image I thought to actually snap. My fruit flag attempt was fun to assemble with my oldest and made for nice decoration. I didn’t even think to take a picture of the amazing fireworks but my brother got 100’s of them so I’ll just have to borrow some from him. We’ll be better prepared next year.
I also read an amazing post by my friend Melanie over at ¿Que means What? . Visit and read it! You’ll think about how “When lit, we can produce something grand and beautiful!” Hope your next week is calmer but just as fun filled.
*If you’re doing a Project 52 I’d love for you to leave a comment with your link below and share. It’s never too late to start! If you link me, I’ll link you in next week’s post.
and while Life in an Instant from Kids Stuff World is not exactly a Project 52, the concept is still the same: share an image for the week and link up… so I’m including it here. Hope you enjoy these blogsPin It
