Lap infants and infant fares
On Breeze Airways, children from seven days old until their second birthday can travel as a lap infant without their own seat. There is no fare for a lap infant. If you prefer your baby to have their own seat, you can purchase one by booking them as a regular guest, but you must use an approved car seat on board.
If your child turns two during your trip, you will need to book two one-way reservations. They can be a lap infant on the first flight, but they must have their own purchased seat for the return flight.

Newborns and proof of age
Your baby must be at least seven days old to fly with Breeze Airways as a lap infant. The airline may ask you to show proof of age for any child under two years old, since they are not required to purchase a fare.
Acceptable documents include a valid birth certificate, passport, or vaccination record. Breeze also accepts digital copies, so a clear picture of the document on your phone is sufficient.

Baby baggage
Breeze Airways considers a diaper bag to be an infant’s personal item. This means it is subject to the same size restrictions as any other passenger’s personal item. The airline’s official page that we checked does not specify what those dimensions are, so you may want to confirm this detail with Breeze before you fly to ensure your bag meets the requirements.
“Your infant's diaper bag counts as their personal item. Diaper bags have the same dimension restrictions as personal items.”
