Your guide to Jet2.com's infant and child policies. Find rules for lap infants, baggage, strollers, and car seats, plus age limits for flying alone.
Jet2.com offers some family-friendly policies, most notably that infants under two go free*. The airline also allows you to bring up to two pieces of baby equipment per child or infant free of charge, which can include a stroller and a car seat. For baggage, infants do not get their own allowance, but you can add 10kg for them to an adult’s purchased 22kg bag.
Airline policies can be updated, so it is always a good idea to confirm all the details directly with Jet2.com when you book your travel and before you head to the airport.

Strollers and car seats
You can bring up to two pieces of equipment per infant or child free of charge. This allowance can include a collapsible pushchair, pram, buggy, car seat, or booster seat. Each of these items must weigh no more than 32kg. You are permitted to keep a pushchair with you until you get to the aircraft steps, which can be helpful for getting through the airport.

Baby baggage
Infants under two do not receive their own checked baggage allowance. However, if an accompanying adult purchases a 22kg hold bag, Jet2.com allows an extra 10kg to be added to that bag for the infant’s items at no extra charge. This brings the total weight for that single bag to a new limit, which you should confirm with the airline.
“Infants under two don’t get their own hold baggage allowance. However, if the accompanying adult has purchased a 22kg hold bag, an extra 10kg allowance for the infant’s belongings can be added to that bag free of charge.”

For any passengers aged 17 and under who are traveling without a parent or legal guardian, it is advised to check fco.gov.uk for current requirements as specific entry rules may apply at certain destinations.
