KLM unaccompanied minor policy: ages, fee and rules
Find rules for the KLM Unaccompanied Minor service. Learn the required ages (5-14), optional ages (15-17), and rules for connecting flights.
KLM requires its Unaccompanied Minor service for children from 5 up to and including 14 years old traveling alone. The service is also mandatory if a child flies in a different travel class than their accompanying adult. For connecting flights, transfers are only permitted on flights operated by KLM, Air France, and Delta Air Lines.
Airline policies can be updated, so it is always a good practice to confirm all rules and procedures directly with KLM when you book your child’s ticket to ensure you have the latest information.
