Porter Airlines car seat and stroller policy
Porter Airlines rules for flying with children. See policies for checking strollers and car seats for free, bringing a diaper bag, and family seating.
Porter Airlines has some helpful rules for families traveling with children. You can check both a collapsible stroller and a car seat at no charge, and these items do not count toward your regular checked bag allowance. For a lap infant under two, you can bring a diaper bag on board in addition to your personal carry-on allowance.
Airline policies can be updated, so it is a good practice to confirm all rules directly with Porter when you book your travel. This helps ensure you have the most current information for your trip.

Baby baggage
If you are traveling with a lap infant under the age of 2, you may bring a diaper bag on the plane. This bag is in addition to your own personal carry-on allowance, giving you extra space for the baby’s things.
Keep in mind that lap-held infants who travel at no cost do not receive their own checked baggage allowance. You will need to pack their items within the luggage allowance of the paying passengers in your group.

Sitting together
Porter’s policy states that if a family cannot be seated together, the airline will make reasonable efforts to ensure that each child under 14 is seated with an adult from the same reservation. The information we reviewed does not specify if you must pay to select seats to guarantee sitting together. It is a good idea to ask about your seating options when you make your booking to understand how to keep your family together on the flight.
“If you can't all be seated together, we'll make reasonable efforts to ensure each child under 14 years of age is seated with an adult travelling on the reservation.”
