EVA Air car seat and stroller policy

Planning a trip on EVA Air with kids? See the rules for strollers, pushchairs, and infant carriers. Learn about restrictions for car seats and CARES harnesses.

EVA Air allows one infant carrier or one fully collapsible stroller/pushchair for each infant traveling. You may be able to bring it into the cabin, but this is not guaranteed and depends on available space.

The airline has an important restriction for some premium seats: Child Restraint Systems, including CARES harnesses and car seats, are not permitted in Royal Laurel class on Boeing 777 aircraft. Always confirm the latest rules with the airline when you book.

Strollers and car seats

For each infant, EVA Air permits you to bring one fully collapsible stroller or pushchair, or one infant carrier. The airline’s policy allows you to bring the item into the cabin. However, if there is no available stowage space, it will be loaded into the luggage compartment. Be prepared for this possibility at the gate.

“One infant carrier or fully collapsible stroller/pushchair (will be loaded in the luggage compartment if stowage space is not available in the cabin).”
